This Privacy Policy describes how IDCollect ("the App") handles information when you use it. We are committed to protecting your privacy.

1. Information We Collect

The App collects the following data solely on your device:

• Student records — name, roll number, parentage, class, contact number, address, and photo — entered manually by the user.
• Camera photos — taken through the device camera to capture student photos for ID card records.

All data is stored locally on your device using an on-device database (Hive). No personal data is transmitted to any server or third party by the App itself.

2. How We Use Your Data

• To display student records within the App.
• To generate and export an Excel spreadsheet and photo archive (ZIP file) that you share manually via the device share sheet.

Data is never used for profiling, analytics, or marketing purposes.

3. Camera Permission

The App requests access to your device camera solely to capture student photos. Photos are saved locally on your device and are not uploaded anywhere.

4. Storage Permission

The App requires storage access to save student photos permanently on your device and to export the data archive file.

5. Advertising

The App uses Google AdMob to display advertisements. AdMob may collect device identifiers and usage data to serve relevant ads. Please refer to Google's Privacy Policy for details:

You can opt out of personalized advertising through your device settings: Settings → Google → Ads → Opt out of Ads Personalization.

6. Data Sharing

We do not sell, trade, or share your personal data with any third parties, except as described in Section 5 (AdMob) above.

7. Data Retention and Deletion

All student records are stored locally on your device. You can delete all data at any time using the Clear All Data option within the App. Uninstalling the App will remove all locally stored data.

8. Children's Privacy

The App is intended for use by school administrators and teachers to manage student ID card data. It is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children directly through the App.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated date. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.

6. Data Deletion & Account Deletion

Because IDCollect operates completely offline and utilizes an on-device database (Hive) to store your data, Shafaqat Tech does not collect, store, or manage any of your personal information on external servers.

Therefore, we do not hold any user data to delete from our end. If you wish to delete all data associated with the app, you can easily do so yourself through either of the following methods:

• In-App Option: Open IDCollect, click on delete icon, and use the built-in option to clear all local data.
• Device Settings: Go to your Android device Settings → Apps → IDCollect → Storage and click "Clear Data" or "Clear Storage". This will permanently wipe all student records and images from your device.
• Uninstalling: Uninstalling the app from your device will also automatically delete all data files created by the app.
