You can disable location permissions in your device settings, but this will limit location-based features.

- Storage & Media Access: Camera permission for taking product photos directly in the app, and storage access for uploading existing photos from your device gallery

- Google Advertising ID (GAID): We collect your device's Advertising ID on Android 13+ for personalized advertising through Google AdMob. You can reset your advertising ID or opt-out of personalized ads in your device settings (Settings > Privacy > Ads > Delete advertising ID)

7. Data Retention & Deletion
7.1 Data Retention
- Active Accounts: Data retained as long as your account remains active
- Chat Messages: Stored until manually deleted by users; automatically deleted 7 days after the associated listing expires
- Listings: Deleted when you remove them or automatically deleted after expiration
- Analytics Data: Anonymized and aggregated after 26 months
- Inactive Accounts: Automatically deleted after 90 days of inactivity
7.2 Account Deletion
- You can delete your account anytime through app settings (Profile > Settings > Delete Account)
- Upon deletion, your listings, profile, and personal data are permanently removed
- Chat messages may persist for other conversation participants until they delete them
- Some information may be retained for legal compliance, fraud prevention, or dispute resolution purposes
- Deleted data cannot be recovered
8. Your Privacy Rights
You have the following rights regarding your personal data:
- Delete: Remove listings, messages, reviews, and your entire account
- Control: Manage favorites, notifications, and privacy settings
- Opt-Out: Disable promotional messages and personalized ads
- Withdraw Consent: Revoke permissions (location, notifications) through device settings
How to Exercise Your Rights:

9. Children's Privacy
Tijarah is not intended for children under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
